Richard Culpepper, a native of Pearl, Mississippi, lives in Vicksburg, where he serves as Assistant Choir Director at Warren Central High School and Organist at Crawford Street United Methodist Church.

A pianist and collaborator, Richard has performed with the Mississippi River Chorale, the Ole Miss Men's Glee Club, and the Non-Stravinsky Trio. While at the University of Mississippi, he appeared at Carnegie Hall as both a singer and accompanist with the University of Mississippi Concert Singers.

In addition to performing, Richard is an arranger and educator with experience writing for show choirs, concert ensembles, and instrumental groups. He has worked extensively as a collaborative pianist for the Gertrude C. Ford Center's Youth Music Theatre Workshop and the MidSouth Music Institute.

Richard holds a Bachelor of Music Education and a Master of Choral Conducting from the University of Mississippi. His professional affiliations include the Mississippi Music Educators Association and the American Choral Directors Association.
